Rated capacity differs by claim: 6,500 gallons for aesthetic chlorine, 180 gallons for VOC. The conservative VOC capacity is used for the carbon kit. 40 gpd is production, not service flow; 33.5% is efficiency, not recovery. The time schedule is based on 2.6 gallons of drinking water per day.
